Eight young men with whom Nkosinathi had worked and lived in Johannesburg drove down to the Dladla homestead at three o’clock that morning. They sang and danced on top of his coffin, stamping layers of soil onto the grave several times before anchoring it down with a circumference of heavy iron-stone and a blanket of fresh grass.
